Where True Horsemanship Is Formed
Omarian Equestrian Club is an integrated sports and cultural development spanning 2.5 feddans. The project reflects GM-art’s vision of creating developments with real value—projects that reconnect people with place and revive authentic concepts through a contemporary, institutional framework.
The club’s philosophy is inspired by the saying of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab: “Teach your children swimming, archery, and horse riding.” Not as a historical reference, but as a holistic lifestyle concept reintroduced through a modern sports institution.
Project Vision
Omarian Equestrian Club aims to establish the first sports entity in Egypt and the Middle East dedicated to developing a complete horseman, mastering three core disciplines:
- Horse riding
- Swimming
- Traditional archery
The club operates under a professional training system and the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as an officially accredited entity adhering to the highest organizational and athletic standards. It also targets participation in regional and international competitions following the formal registration of this discipline—marking the first initiative of its kind to redefine horsemanship as mastery of all three sports.
Activities & Sports Environment
The project includes:
- Specialized stables for purebred Arabian horses built to the highest welfare standards Open training and viewing arenas
- Landscaped natural areas and artificial lakes
- Dedicated zones for riding education, competitions, and events
- Swimming facilities
- Traditional (non-firearm) archery ranges rooted in authentic equestrian culture
The experience is designed to go beyond sports, offering a lifestyle lived within the space.
